Many Laptop's are sold without any form of Windows® restore disks. Instead they are supplied with a system recovery partition that should restore the Laptop to its factory state. Many of these partitions can easily be deleted or re-formatted or the hard drive breaks down or is replaced.

This solution provides everything from a full legal version of a Windows® restore disk (Supplied by a Microsoft® Authorized Digital Partner) to a Windows® 8 driver restore disk written specifically for the HP Compaq® Pavilion dv6-1020et. All Microsoft® operating systems are supplied with a HP Compaq® Pavilion dv6-1020et driver resource DVD with driver update software built in. Full legal operating systems are now available for Windows® XP Windows® Vista & Windows® 7.

In short we believe this is the ultimate HP Compaq® Pavilion dv6-1020et Windows® re-installation solution. Even if the HP Compaq® Pavilion dv6-1020et operating system will not start and there is still precious data on the hard disk, an option is available to be supplied with a free separate data recovery CD to be used before re-installing HP Compaq® Pavilion dv6-1020et Windows® operating system. This system re-install will automatically repartition the Laptop's hard disk and create a new system recovery partition, so in the future the operating system disk will not be required.

The Pavilion dv6-1020et laptop is manufactured by HP Compaq™ using devices supplied by HP Compaq™, nVidia™, Intel™, JMicron™, Suyin™, Logitech™, Agere™, Realtek™ and Microsoft™. The bluetooth hardware is controlled by the integrated module wireless interface bluetooth wlan device. Geforce 9600m gt g96 supports the graphics hardware.

The hd audio device utilises the 82801i hd controller ich9 and the nvidia high definition audio hardware. Ieee 1394 is designed for use with the ieee 1394 host controller hardware.

Imaging runs on both the hp webcam and the usb composite. Agere systems hda modem supports the modem hardware. The network device utilises the shiloh pro wireless 5100 agn and the rtl8111 8168b pci express gigabit ethernet hardware. Sd host controllers can have up to 4 devices, the sd mmc host controller, standard sd host controller, ms host controller and the xd host controller.

Storage is designed for use with the ich9m m e sata ahci hardware.
