Many Laptop's are sold without any form of Windows® restore disks. Instead they are supplied with a system recovery partition that should restore the Laptop to its factory state. Many of these partitions can easily be deleted or re-formatted or the hard drive breaks down or is replaced.

This solution provides everything from a full legal version of a Windows® restore disk (Supplied by a Microsoft® Authorized Digital Partner) to a Windows® 8 driver restore disk written specifically for the HP Compaq® Pavilion DV8000. All Microsoft® operating systems are supplied with a HP Compaq® Pavilion DV8000 driver resource DVD with driver update software built in. Full legal operating systems are now available for Windows® XP Windows® Vista & Windows® 7.

In short we believe this is the ultimate HP Compaq® Pavilion DV8000 Windows® re-installation solution. Even if the HP Compaq® Pavilion DV8000 operating system will not start and there is still precious data on the hard disk, an option is available to be supplied with a free separate data recovery CD to be used before re-installing HP Compaq® Pavilion DV8000 Windows® operating system. This system re-install will automatically repartition the Laptop's hard disk and create a new system recovery partition, so in the future the operating system disk will not be required.

One Last Thing To Remember Before Downloading The Restore Disk Sets

A final point before downloading.. remember these are very large files, as each download is a minimum of 2GB in size, it is easy to end up with 10GBs of downloads! So it is necessary to use our download manager to ensure digital delivery and manage the large DVD images. As we only use a Microsoft® official download channel, all the disks are free of malware, bloatware and viruses. We only supply genuine Microsoft® downloads provided by a Microsoft® online distribution partner, therefore a valid product key / COA is required to activate the operating system disks (a product key is not required for the driver disks). Without a real legal product key the Windows® installation will only run for 30 days. During installation or before the 30 days, Windows® will have to be activated using the product key found on the COA. (We do not supply a Windows® License / Product Key / Serial Number! You must already have a COA as this service is for re-installation only)

The Pavilion DV8000 laptop is manufactured by HP Compaq™ using devices supplied by ATI™, HP Compaq™, nVidia™, Conexant™, Intel™, Logitech™, Texas Instruments™, Broadcom™, Realtek™ and M-Systems™. The audio hardware is controlled by the ixp sb400 ac97 audio controller device. Integrated module wireless interface bluetooth wlan supports the bluetooth hardware.

The graphics device utilises the geforce go 7600 g73 and the radeon xpress 200m 5955 pcie hardware. Hd audio has two devices, the high definition audio and the n10 ich 7 high definition controller.

Human interface is designed for use with the m115 mouse hardware. The ieee 1394 device utilises the pcixx12 ohci compliant ieee 1394 host controller and the ohci compliant ieee 1394 host controller hardware. Modem has two devices, the hda cx20551 soft modem and the sb400 ac97 modem controller. Network can have up to 4 devices, the pro 100 ve, golan pro wireless 3945abg, airforce one 54g bcm4318 wireless lan and the rtl 8139 8139c 8139c.

The pcmcia device utilises the pcixx12 cardbus and the pci xx21 x515 cardbus controller hardware. Sd host controllers has two devices, the pcixx12 sda standard compliant sd host controller and the pci6411 6421 6611 6621 7411 7421 7611 7621 secure digital controller. Storage can have up to 4 devices, the 82801gbm ghm sata ahci ich7, 82801g ide ich7, traveldrive usb flash drive and the ixp sb400 ide controller.
